Dhahi Khalfan hails anti-drug efforts
HE Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, chaired the meeting of the National Anti-Narcotics Council. The virtual meeting was held in the presence of Brig. Gen. Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director General of Federal Narcotics Control, Vice Chairman of the Council along with a number of anti-drug officials and directors in the UAE.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed a report on the risk engine system devised by Dubai Customs Department, and the preliminary results of the electronic anti-drug training program in schools. HE the Chairman issued instructions to measure the impact of training on students to see how far the program has reached its results.
The Council also discussed a number of important issues on its agenda, and took the necessary recommendations to tackle them.
