Ministry of Interior Calls for Respecting Prevention and Safety Measures During Eid Al Fitr
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) urged community members to adopt healthy preventive behaviours and avoid wrong practices during Eid Al Fitr. The ministry reiterated its call to people on the need to comply with prevention and safety guidelines, to stay home unless it’s absolutely necessary, refrain from social visits and respect social distancing. It also called upon people to send their Eid greetings via social media and avoid offering cash and in-kind presents, as well as implementing public health measures and sterilization procedures in homes. The ministry conveyed its congratulatory wishes to people on the advent of Eid and urged them to abide by the instructions issued by relevant authorities during the nationwide sterilization and disinfection program to ensure public safety and health for all.
