As the UAE’s nationwide disinfection campaign gas been extended for another week, the Ministry of Interior has launched a new Federal Mobility Permit Service via its website (moi.gov.ae). The Move Permit’ service will allow citizens and residents to move outdoors for essential work or necessary purposes during the nationwide nighttime disinfection campaign without facing penalties.

The ministry called upon eligible individuals who meet the conditions to apply for these permits via its website with easy and streamlined steps by filling out the available application. Permits will be issued electronically and shared with government entities that are organizing movement across the country.

The initiative aims to support the government’s efforts to safely implement the national disinfection program, in a way that promotes safety and prevention measures within society.

The ministry reiterated its calls to community members to comply with the precautionary measures implemented by the United Arab Emirates and to follow the public safety instructions, by refraining from leaving their homes unless it is absolutely necessary.
